Oblong master link features enlarged interior dimensions, it is an optimum design for connection or sling construction.

In one mooring line, master link is commonly coupled with rope thimble, and then to be connected with chains by shackles.

European type welded master link is welded, quenched and tempered. Proof load is 2.5 times of workload limit. Ultimate load is 4 times of working load limit.

    DESCRIPTION:

    Oblong master links are stamped with the ID code and MBL. In a mooring line, master link are coupled with thimble, acting the connection ring with ropes and chains by shackles. 

    The addition of the built in master link allows for a better connection with other components and alignment in component breaking strengths. When choose the master link, it is important to have its working load and breaking load into consideration to meet the load requirement of the whole mooring system.
