Screw pin d shackle is a shackle designed with an “U” body and a removable screw pin.

A screw pin is a threaded bolt or pin that can be unscrewed to open or close the shackle. Screw pin shackles are used mainly for non-permanent applications.

It is commonly used in rigging, lifting, towing and mooring applications.

We provide G210 US type D shackles with sizes from 1/4 to 2 1/2, surface treatment can be hot dipped galvanized, electro-galvanized, powder coated as per client usage demand.

Screw Pin Dee Shackle

Material: Body 45# steel, Pin: 40Cr.

Production technology: Forged--Quenched and Tempered.

Safety factor: 6:1; 4:1.

Working Load limit permanently shown on every shackle.

Maximum proof load is 2.0 times the working load limit.

D type screw pin shackle is widely used in lifting or mooring applications, since it is easy to use and quick to attach. Screw pin shackle is mainly used for non-permanent applications, since the pin may become loose when friction is abundant. When choose the shackles, usage condition, SWL and MBL should be considered.
